Really, there was one with a better angle but cocot’s brother’s eyes were like O3O and is totally freaky so… I sticked with the not so nice angled one :(

Cocot’s bro got married and I got invited rather last minute to attend the akad nikah! From my experiences of akad nikahs, the ceremony always starts super late thanks thanks to some slip ups anyway, somehow or another, I ended up driving to Shah Alam. None of us knew Shah Alam well (That’s Rinny, Cocot, Zuzu and I) so we tagged along behind cocot’s parents car. That was, until we reached the toll. Her parents sped off using their smart tag whereelse I had to wait miserably for the Touch ‘N’ Go. Worried about getting lost, we sped up (and mind you I miss speeding up after all those days going at 90 km/h on a high way cause of the amount of cars in the morning and the evening) and accidentally overtook her parents while zuzu fumbled with the gps. Then we lost her parents car again at one of the roundabouts in Shah Alam. Zuzu set up the GPS and had it guide us. I’m used to driving with the GPS and solely putting my faith on it but usually it’s on a leisure stroll while chatting happily with friends. This time, however, my GPS echoed.

Garmin : In, 300m, turn, left.

Sarah and zuzu : TURN LEFT!

Garmin : Turn, left.

Sarah and zuzu : TURN LEFT!

Cocot : WAIT IT’S NOT HERE! IT’S STRAIGHT!

Garmin : Turn, left, now.

Sarah : IT’S NOT HERE!

It was a rather hilarious experience. Sat through the whole thing snapping pics. I learned something new! White balance! I’ve heard people talking about setting it but I never knew how to set it properly cept for turning the dial to auto, incandescent, cloudy etc etc. I need to practice playing with the wb more. It’s rather confusing. Oh and their rings were designed by Frank Gehry. I have everything against Frank Gehry. His ugly designs can win people’s heart, he designs as he pleases, he wasn’t exactly an A student and the list goes on. The ring however, as eccentric as he is, was simple. Which was nice.
