To the home of bad photography… I’m not sure why the pics in this post was SO green. I know my new campus is all about being sustainable and green and all lakeside and all but I didn’t expect my pics to come out a bloody bright green!

Oh, did you hear? I moved to a new campus. Things are so so there, the food is ridiculously  priced and the cafeteria is disturbingly stuffy - I swear I could taste the sweat evaporating there - and overall, the finishes for the floor, staircase, toilet was B.A.D. Gotta admit, it’s nice walking around an actually campus and not have disturbing (not gonna stereotype) FOREIGNERS walking around trying to pick up girls they do not know. And now when I walk to my car I walk in peace (at least, so far) rather than worrying about oncoming cars and the stupid cook in the restaurant whistling and calling out to me. You’d think they’d have taste.

So voila! New campus! Totally white - it’s my fault it looks so bloody green, the horrible photographer in me. No, despite the pictures being horribly small you cannot click to enlarge. I’m too lazy for that…

Outdoor Ampitheatre, Crescent Walk I’m not exactly sure, foreground. Main block, administration thing, background.

The Academic Blocks. My block, Architecture block, is the one right most front most :)

All together with the lake and all. The other block? That’s the hostel, incomplete.

So far I’ve gotten good luck with the traffic. Have yet gotten stuck in the jam.  I have serious problem with parking though. I park at like, the hostel side and since it’s incomplete, I have to walk one whole round along the lake just to get to the other side and go the the academic blocks. Not to mention 327463219847210 students drive to college and so parking is srs bsn with people double parking, squeezing their cars in every space they find. Sigh, half a year more to go!

The amount of cars, the cramped spaces, I think I’ve developed claustrophobia.  I fear driving in small spaces.

It’s like one bad thing after another. From the looks of it, I’m cursed to having a bad year this year which is (excuse the pun), bad considering I’m doing my final final final year in dip arch. I NEED TO PULL MY GRADES HIGHER DAMMIT! So what happened this time?

Following the event of my car getting into an accident, my wallet getting lost now, just when I had a crit the next day, my car just HAD to break down. I went to buy materials to work on my design and when I was all excited with said materials, I got into the car, turned on the engine and waited for Boris to purr. He did not. Instead, he wheezed and died on me. Idiot car D:

Thankfully, there was a policeman nearby standing idly so I called out for him to help out. He called other policemen to help and this is when this came to mind…

Well anyway, after spraying water into the accumulator (sue me for trying to sound professional from 5th grade science), jump starting the car twice, I gave my car manufacturer a call and they told me it’s a case of my battery giving up on me totally. They would have to tow my car away or have me go to a nearby car repair shop to purchase a battery. I had no money on me. Well, I had money but not enough to cover the cost and my recently stolen wallet had left me cardless. So I waited for my father to come and the policemen waited with me teaching me stuff like I should so totally check on my car once a week. Of course, knowing me, I nodded in front of them with much enthusiasm but once I got into the car, the information disappeared. I swear my brain has a huge bermuda triangle in it.

Well anyway, the police even talked to my dad for me and all and I’m totally grateful for that. My dad too, who came all the way from another state (I need to make it sound epic!) and all the way back here to fix my car. Daddy, you’re a totally awesome mechanic!

Now, where was I, ah yes, designing my mosque. Crit IN 2 HOURRRSSSS. I wanna learn Rhino D:

Real life Gambit. Errmmm that’s rather hawt u_u

I’m not sure whether to love this game or loathe it. The best part being, I haven’t even played it.  My older bro told me looong ago to play this game cause he said it seemed like my type of game. So I found the soundtrack and downloaded. And it was so smart of me to put it on as I did my assignment. Thanks to that, my whole assignment was all colourful and squishy looking. And I was laughing and happy all the way. Oh god, creeeeepy. But bloody hell the soundtrack is friggin cute, ergh. Patapon, I’m sorry, this so totally pwnz you.

Watched How to Train A Dragon. Lil bro wanted to watch it so I decided to hold it off until he and I were free. My cousin who was so determined NOT to watch it when she saw the trailers decided that she wanted to watch it and boy did she loved it. Mind you, my cousin’s 40. Honestly, I didn’t expect much from the trailers. It was a show that seemed like something the fantasy geek that runs within the blood of my siblings and I would love so I decided when it came out, even if it’s not popular I’ll drag lil bro along. But oh, come on, Dreamworks! When have Dreamworks ever failed me! All their animations have been memorable (mainly cause there’s always an incident to relate it with i.e. sprained my ankle in the cinema, first time crying in laughter in the cinema). So when HtTAD came out and it was a hit, why was I not amazed?

First, the art was AMAZING. It was animation but somehow there was this… I dunno… Avatar had the abuse of dodge, Alice had the abuse of h… I can’t recall the effect currently so what did this animation have? Every fire that came out bursting made me go ‘OMFG I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO DRAW LIKE THAT!’ and the scene where Hiccup looked towards the sea as his father left for the dragon’s lair. OMFG. I think it’s because the animation was slightly, blurred and soft looking ala ala Kingdom Hearts. As usual the human 3D people did not amaze me. The proportions are even weirded out here. Sometimes I swear I saw 6 fingers on their hands but when I recount it quickly, no, they have 5. It was very annoying. The music, had my lil bro nudging me throughout the movie. It’s so irish/scottish! It did not help that I’ve been playing songs with those kind of themes lately (embarrassingly.  YOU guys would know.). The songs were, I can’t say memorable. It didn’t have a recurring theme but each song was different and that adds a nice touch of special to the whole thing. Mmmm… *downloads*. Plot wise, I have to give credit, I was actually practically sitting on the edge of my chair. Half way through the movie I actually snapped and was quite surprised I’m this tense and very much into the movie. All in all, it was worth the money, time, and assignment. Now, who wants to go for another round? :D I am willingly volunteering myself now! AND I’LL PAY FOR MY OWN TICKET! COME ON! AJAK ME!

I think my mum felt bad for making me all stressed so she made me tea on Saturday (believe me, it’s a small gesture but it made me feel totally good!). The first thing I noticed was, new teacups! The cup is so nice! So cute! My mum likes round tea cups cause she says it’s more comfortable on her lips so I was quite shocked to see this cup. But non the less, so purdy. Now I have assignments, which honestly, deadline I do not know of, I just know it’s really near, so I shall go play with CAD now.

Oh wait, I need to destroy your eyes with more bad photography! Since some people would not know what a dodol is and they reckon that Malaysian delicacies are sooo weird looking (and they predict it would taste just as weird), I present you, Dodol. It’s like mochi, of sticky consistency, except, worse. It tastes way different too.

I’ll be waiting for the string of eeewwwssss on MSN ahahahahahaha!!!!
