College has begun!
Posted on March 31st, 2008 @ 10:26 am

Since someone especially text me to post up college experience, fine here it is. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

DAY 1

I woke up at 6am and packed bags and all. I mean, I didn’t want to be late for the first day of college unlike some people right?! So yea, I got there at around 7.45am. I approached the entrance to the reception and it was… locked and dark. So I saw some benches and saw people. People who looked so idle that I thought they would be freshies like me so I proceeded and awkwardly sat on one of th benches. By 8am, I was perplexed. Where is everyone? It should be starting by now? Well, atleast arrival of stedents should be at 8am. Okay so I continues waiting. Then this woman came crouched down to unlock the entrance to the reception. Yay! Finally! So I stood up and made my way to the entrance and noticed this big sign saying ‘NEW STUDENTS PLEASE PROCEED TO MPH@ANNEXE’. Holy shit…. So I followed the arrow and reached an escalator. Is it this? Impossible. So I walked a little further and went around the whole block only to find myself back at the entrance to the reception.

I saw this guy who was looking at the sign, confused. Ah what the hell it’s his problem, so I went in and asked the receptionist. Yay! I found the Annexe! I went down to the Pulti Purpose Hall only to find it locked. Chairs and tables were neatly arranged inside but the hall was… empty. The lights were on though. So I climbed up the stairs again and saw the guard and the guard said that the hospitality students were having their finals today there so it’s impossible that orientation is being held there. WHAT?! Then I saw another clueless girl so I talked to her and then I saw the guy and we dragged him down into the Annexe where we paced like the cluless idiots we are. We went into the auditorium and saw a girl there. She said the auditorium is going to be used for a lecture. HUUUHHH?!?!?! So we were back to square one… clueless idiots who are lost. Then suddenly the girl rushed out of the auditorium saying that it was her mistake, the class was cancelled so the auditorium was free. THANK GOD! So we weren’t lost after all.

Anyway, after picking a place to sit we talked. The guy is taking Architecture, his name is already now non-existent cause I’m sooo bad at remmebering names. Hell I didn’t even remember his face today (day 2). The girl on the other hand, is taking Quantity Surveying. When the guy asked us ‘So you’re both fresh graduates from SPM lah. turning 18 soon like me!’ I was like… ‘err… yea…. fresh from SPM’cause I didn’t want to expose my actual age unlike SOMEONE who exposed her age and got bullied.

So anyway, people started coming in and I saw NO familiar faces at all except for this guy whom I met in school but… I always got his named confused or rather, I have never bothered to remember his name at all. Then a guy approached me and asked whether this was orientation and yes it was and he’s taking architecture too!!! And then these 2 guys entered the hall and I knew one by name and by face and the other only by face. Shit… I’m pretty sure they’re taking architecture too. Where are all the girls?! Seriously?!

So I made friends with the girls and found LOTSA communication people (damn mass comm!) and befriended an Indonesian girl. Weird girl. And then I went around and the girls were taking Quantity Surveying. WHAT HAPPENED TO GIRL ARCHITECTURES?! So I turned around and there were other 2 guys. One was taking communication and the other was taking Quantity Surveying. So I complained about the abscence of female architecture students.

After the speeches and talks, finally, we were split. There were 3 groups, School of Communication (SOC), School of Computing (SOCIT) and finally, School of Architecture, Building and Design (SABD). SABD had Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Interior Design and of course, Architecture. So by now, there were less people in the audtiorium. Then the guy I knew in school approached me and asked whether he can join up with my group. Group? Since when was I in a group? I looked behind and saw the 2 guys (the QS student and Architecture student) and beside me, the girl who was taking QS. Group? Not much is it? Fine. So we listened to more talks and FINALLY, the campus tour.

We were split into groups again and walked together. FINALLY, I managed to meet some female architect students. Of course, me being stupid didn’t even ask for their names. Typical of me, talk talk talk talk and by the end of the day, I still have yet to know their names. So the guy I knew from my school , Ian asked their names first thing he met them. SMART GUY! So I kicked him to go bother the british guy. AND HE DID, USING MY NAME. The British guy is taking interior design though! Oh well, Architecture and ID have classess together so I’ll be able to see him anyway. No. He isn’t cute. His head is shaved.

So lunch time, for once, the girls were sick of waiting for the guys so we left first cause they were taking their time arranging their bags. Anyway, after lunch we got our timetable! Which… confused us like hell. Basically, we had 5 subjects for semester 1. Malaysian Studies, Introduction to Design, Design Communication, Technical English and Building Materials. Not much right? But oh god… the timetable was already packed as it is! I hope I get technical English 1st slot on Mondays and Wednesdays! Then atleast I can wake up late on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and also go back early on Thursdays and Tuesdays. Then we had a talk about our online student portal. Where we can check our subjects and announcements. The orientation ended at 5pm. It started to drizzle slightly so I decided to hang out at the library until the rain subsided. It stopped at 6pm or so and I though what the hell, I’ll just wait for my mum, she usually comes back at 7 anyway. So I waited. Then I got bored and she was taking a long time so I proceeded to the train and reached my neighbourhood and walked to the nearby shopping complex.

I waited there until 9.30pm. I reached home at 10.30pm with my assignment yet to be completed. And I had to check my student portal thingy! So I tried to log in. Sign in ID does not exist. WTF?! NOOO!!!!! After a few tried I gave up and went downstairs to write the 300 word essay about me. Half way through, I was all WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF and suddenly I had no parents and was left begging at the streets for food and managed to enter school with the money people donated throughout the year. So I slept… on the floor….

Day 2

I woke up at 6am and reached college at 7.30am again. I forgot, orientation starts at 8.30am… So I decided to go around the stalls there. And I saw the culinary students in a room (they had a small restaurant for Fine Dining students to practise their skills and beside that is the kitchen where all the culinary students practise cooking EVERYDAY so that day the culinary students were using the restaurant for exam lol!) filling up sheets of paper. It looked like an exam since the (what I assume) examiner was looking all stern and formal. And then there were the shops. LOTSA shops. I only brought RM2 though. I don’t think I can buy much with that. Then I decided to check my student ID number and headed to Programme Office which was located at block B3 floor 3A (I KNEW WHERE IT WAS I AMAZE MYSELF!).

There, I met Ian who had the same problem as me… So I went into the ICT department first and then the guy told me I had to first log-in in campus. So I told Ian and he said nonsense and went in and then suddenly, it was some other guy! This guy said I would be able to log-in at home! Fine! Contradict one another! Seeing that we had not much time we headed down to the Annexe. Today was pretty much MORE talking. We had library briefing, tips on how to take notes effectively and finally some motivation talk. During the Tips to take notes effectively, the lecturer was complaining about a student having hiccups. I knew the girl who made the sounds and it wasn’t hiccups! I can’t remmeber what syndrome it was cause the last time she told me about it it was last year so she practically screamed at the lecturer ‘THORAC SYNDROME!’ (or something like that) but the lecturer went on saying you shuold get a bottle of water or something cause I really pity you LOLOLLOLOL. I swear the lecturer was deaf! Anyway, we only had half day and by 11am we were free to go.

I was following Ian home so so I had to wait for him and his waffles -_-. I met the “hiccupping” girl and she told me off for not defending her. -_-. So Ian bought me a waffle (such a kind person ;_; I CANNOT SCOLD HIM FOR YOU STEPOT!) and go meet his friends so I got to hang out with the “hiccupping” girl (she is soo killing me for this… if she finds out that is). Met the QS guy and he was like ‘oh so you were hiccupping!!!’ and he got punched. So we talked about the sexy looking culinary people who sported their sexy white clothes with just a hint of red on their neck (scarves) and then the suave looking hospitality/communication (I DUN FUCKING KNOW!) people who had black blazers (a must!). Either it’s because of the exams or what but the culinary students are constantly wearing their uniforms! SO COOL! Now, if only this college offers diploma in music, the courtyard would really be full of life! Haha.. architecture students get the privilege of living in the studio -_-. The lecturer told us he used to have this ritual where at 2am, you go to th balcony and scream, shout throw stuff and then return back to your work like normal. Sadly, if you did that now, say hello to the police. DAMN.

So anyway, we were allowed to go home and the best thing was that this time I need not use the train! I’m getting a ride home!!!! Well, some people had to stay back for the english placement test. So anyway, I got home and used the com. CHatted and chatted somemore and suddenly putih called and aid she was at starbucks already. I BARELY GOT TO USE THE COMPUTER. So I went downstairs to change my pants and pack my bags and headed to where she was… EXCEPT there was heavy rain. And the road I normally use, with more shelter… had a big tractor blocking… so I had to use the other route. So I went downhill… and my butt got splashed by water and the cars passing by splashed water on my jeans. Then I crossed the main road and wanted to use the shorter way but the shorter way was flooded… so I used the longer way UPHILL. So yet again, all the water came splashing at me. And not to mention, I was wearing flip flops instead of proper shoes… so my foot slipped out of the flip flops regularly making me look like an idiot. Anyway, reached McD’s and saw putih… and stepot was right behind me. Then suddenly.. putih made a call and this big giant thing called Rizzy popped out of no where and stepot and me murdered him. End of story.

Day 3

I woke up at my usual time and got ready and blablabla but this time, class starts at 9. But I went to college at 7.45 anyway. I DIDN’T KNOW IT STARTED AT 9!!!! But anyway, I just sat at the bench listening to music then I rmemebered I was supposed to submit some forms so went to the customer service who told me to come back at 9. So I went to the classroom first.. which was being used by people but luckily someone I knew was already there. So we talked and talked and by 9, the people in the room were till there so we continued waiting then the librarian came and told us that we were to move to lab 4 instead. So we proceeded and me and my friends got front row seats (typical good students~). So we started with our library briefing. Of course… we were sitting right under the air cond so it was freezing cold. The girls had jackets of course but the guys… one guy was soo cold he stood on the chair to try and poke the air cond but nothing happened lol.

Library briefing ended at 11am and then our next class was 1pm. We had 2 hours. So we went to the mall to watch movie. What a thing to do on the first day of actual class. Obviously a movie is like.. 1hour 40 mins or 2 hours… so we took a gamble to watch spiderwick since bird bird knew that it was 1 hour 40 mins or so. But bird bird watched the movie already so only 4 of us went to watch. To save money.. we all took couple popcorns lollololol. God life is sad… And worse.. I eat pop corn reeally slowly… and Ian eats like a pig, so 30 mins into the movie… he suddenly handed me the whole bucket of pop corn and I was like HUH? I ONLY GOT THE LEFTOVERS. THOSE SMALL LIL THINGS. Rachel and PC (I dunno how to spell her name not my fault!) said their pop corn lasted maybe an hour or so. I FELT SO CHEATED! So, when we got out of the cinema, Ian tried to call bird bird but he didn’t pick up his phone so we decided to leave him. Aren’t we soo evil? Then I got a message from Audrey asking whether we were coming to class.

OH SHIT.

So we quickly got into the car and drove to college. Apparently Ian wanted to make us “fly” but failed to do so. Instead we only bounced. We reached 1pm sharp and the lecturer wasn’t there SAFE. GRANDPA (His name is too common so I dun wan it to be common) was asking me all these questions on why I didn’t take my L license and why I didn’t sit for the test? I can get an L license? To get an L license I had to be 17. So I was making excuses like lazy.. but problem is… the day before I was cmoplaining about how I want to drive. So to shut him up, I told him that I was actually TURNING 17. He was shocked at first then grinned and called me a baby. -_- Then everyone else followed suit. Then apparently the british guy was also the same age as me! So, feeling hopeful, I asked for his birthday. JANUARY. SHIT. I WAS STILL YOUNGER. Anyway, we got split up and I got tuesday slot for Technical English.

Meaning… My breaks on Mondays and wednesdays will be 12pm to 3pm but as a result.. I have to stay up to 5pm on thursdays and tuesdays. It sucks.. since the guy who is supposed to fetch me home got the monday slot so that means on tuesdays and thrusdays it’s the trains for me. Anyway, we got to go off early for technical english again so we decided to give the library a check. Well. Grandpa was in the library. On the way there, we met some people from the January intake. So they were like ‘OMG.. You’re architecture too?! GOOD LUCK GOOD LUCK! By the third week we had to stay back until 12 midnight already’ WTF?! All of us were like.. dumbfounded… But headed to the library anyway. So, first thing we did was get online and I wanted to chat soo badly. Windows messenger was out. Web messenger can’t be use because of pop up blocker and finally, grandpa found out by using meebo. But I didn’t have time to use it use Audrey dragged me down 7 floors using the stair (and the others followed suit) and we went to the bridge linking block B3 to B1 and she dragged me another floor up to check with her timetable.

By the time we were done, we had to go for our building materials class. We were slightly late so the good seats were taken. There were front seats but the projecter on that side had a slightly blue tinge to it. We figured since it’s the first class why should we bother? But I swear.. the lecturer is ready and set to murder me. I was asking soo many questions lol. We got released an hour early so the first thing we did? Went to the courtyard cause Ian wanted waffles. -_-. Everyone wanted to kill him but what the hell. We all gathered and talk about more nonsense! Then finally, we were heading home. this time, I wasn’t alone. Ian drove, Young, me and audrey home. Poor car. u_u but hey, we talked about GAYS, HousexWilson, Chase, Cameron and Gays. Apparently… he likes lesbos….

SO here I am typing happily! :D I need to sleep soon and SOMEONE has to finish her essay soon hohohoho. I finished my about me essay proudly!

Anyway, college is from 10am to 5pm daily and err… I can check LJ from the computers there though… whether I will have the time is another thing so I shall apologize in advance if I do not reply or anything!!!! I don’t doodle in public but it doesn’t mean it wil stop me cg’ing. XD

To summarise the whole thing, so far college is fun :)

Life as I see it
It’s decided!
Posted on March 21st, 2008 @ 11:43 pm

So this morning started out like any other morning. Me waking up, read a book, bathe, and finally go out and play electone but today, something really good happened to me.

My mum finally realised that the nearby college is starting next monday! She scolded me for not reminding it to her but why should I bother? So the whole day continue like normal until dinner. Suddenly, my cousin called my handphone and told me to *seduce* my father into letting me go to the private college. With much effort, I got the tears in my eyes needed and went to plead and now, I have completed the application form! I still need my photos and chop from the school as proof that my exam results are authentic. Is applying for college that easy? =/

So, suddenly, my days of freedom are cut short to 3 days. 3 days actually spent for preperation. In the course of 3 days, I am determined to complete my admission process, complete that harutaji pic I owe Kali, teach gemala juniors, memorize 3 bloody freaking chords for music, and finally last but not least, complete the painting I’m doing in art class.  NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE! Not to mention I had better start reorganizing the calculation part of my brain. Last time I checked it was dark and dusty there…

Let me beat putih to this…
Posted on March 16th, 2008 @ 11:52 am

♥HAPPY BIRTHDAY♥

♥ICHINOSE♥

♥HIDEKAZU♥

♥市瀬 秀和♥

HEE!!!!! :D

And putih woke up earlier (right?) SO YAY! XD

Oh wait… I DID get the correct date right… >_>

Alright fine she did say he is 33 but hey, I just want another pointless entry! Okay not really. Fine. I just felt like maybe to show that I do remember birthdays… If it’s the correct date >_>. But he’s sooo ooollddd. Hell I have a nephew 4 years older okay! Hence, I feel young. To make the entry less pointless…

And you know what, I forgot to thanks Rizzy for helping find out about universities/colleges which offer architecture here. THANK YOU RIZZY!

And let’s just say some articles like this and this especially do NOT help me. Ah well, my social life is gonna be stagnant it seems. No more going out =<.

Mummy will be coming home tonight and hopefully tonight, whether I would be joining public or private college would be decided once and for all. I can’t bear waiting. I want to know whether I shuold continue my CG’s now or not! X(

You know thinking back.. I might not be able to enjoy Code Geass R2 anymore if I apply for March Intake? >_> And Kali is not helpnig by going all ‘I can’t watch anything right now!’. My teacher says I’m hardworking enough to take it (OMG HELL NO?!) and one of the architects say that once I have a passion in something I would give my life to it so that’s good. (NOT TRUE?! I think… Okay maybe…). The best thing about yesterday was going to Lim Kok Wing and getting PRAISED for getting 4A’s. And apparently B3 is considered good already for architecture. Okay seriously… what am I getting myself into. I’m sooo dead ;_;.

anyway, GOOD BYE FEN since she’s gonna work out for 3 months and come back with muscles. I’ll be anticipating my muscle!Irie with PINKU specs! Then, she’s gonna top Byakubyaku. Erm.. Byakuran right? Or is Byakuran tat guy from bleach. Ohshit >_>.

Gonna go to another edu fair today *dies*. It drains the energy out of me -_-. Thankfully, not many places offer architecture so less to check out. I miss rewatching Zombie Loan. I wanna rewatch Oofuri. I NEED to watch supernatural, House MD, Dr.Who, Rahxephon and CE. OMG! SOMEONE KICK MY BUTT TO IT!

But lately I have been in a drawing mood. Haha, I was in the writing mood a few weeks back but now it has changed. ._.

Since results are already out, I received lotsa letters of offers mainly from public colleges. Today itself, I received three and I was expecting something else lol but all of them are NOT offering architecture. Instead, they’re asking for IT and what not. There’s one from Perlis. LET’S GO PERLIS YA ALL! 8D. Or maybe Kedah or Kelantan and we breathe in the PAS air ar popot?!

Alright leaving >.<

The newspaper really knows how to persuade someone to commit suicide you know. Well, atleast they were smart enough to help maybe a little. 2 pages of congratulations to smart people who scored all A’s and stuff and one small column about how you can call this number for students who are depressed. Really helpful. I’m actually tempted to give them a call and try talking to them lol. Anyway, nothing beats the mind of the guy who managed to score 20A1’s and an A2. Secret to his success? ‘I just study when I feel like studying. I consume alot of dates, honey and milk.’

If only life’s problems could be solved with dates, honey and milk. I would actually CONSUME milk. And not to mention make my nephews and my cousin who hates milk consume it too! Spitting it out is not an option!

Life as I see it
Results are out
Posted on March 11th, 2008 @ 12:39 pm

Contrary to people’s belief that I’m so smart and all ,I’m not. My parents were definitely not surprised of my results.

Result slip is already filed and stored safely and cause I’m sleepy I’ll just say that I got 4A’s and 6B’s and 1C.

A1’s
English, Mathematics, Arts

A2’s
Accounts

B3’s
Physics, Additional Mathematics, English for Science and Technology

B4’s
Chemistry, History, Islamic Studies (Religious Studies)

C5’s
Bahasa Melayu (Malay/Mother tongue)

I didn’t expect to get an A1 for maths actually since I skipped 80% of the classes and not to mention I copied 100% homeworks. Every maths exam I force my classmates to squeeze everything into my brain 10 minutes before the exam starts. Accounts was really unexpected. I have always failed or… yea.. at the brink of failing. I expected my Physics to be an A2 but oh well. Same goes to Add Maths. EST is not something to be talked about. Chemistry, I was actually expecting it to be far worse than BM! I remember my brain going blank a week before the exam I totally got into major hysteria. History and Islamic studies, as expected. Malay… 2 words.

Holy shit.

Other than that, I met lotsa old people (not to mention I was unable to remember their names and expected them to sign the farewell…poster with their names just so that I can recall their names…). I didn’t really hang out though. Cause… I was busy asking people for signatures. Got home after shopping and started drawing right after.

No wonder I’m sleepy. The window is wide open and it was just raining not to mention I’m playing a gloomy piano+violin song which legend says that will make you sleepy and dream about you falling or something. Need to sleep. This song really works @_@.

I’M OFFICIALLY NOT A HIGHSCHOOL STUDENT ANYMORE!!!!!!!
